    What finishes do you offer in-house?

    Does black oxide change part dimensions?
    Practically no – black oxide is a conversion coating measured in millionths of an inch, so tight-tolerance parts stay in spec.
    What is the difference between black oxide and manganese phosphate?
    Black oxide gives a thin, uniform matte-black finish with mild corrosion resistance. Manganese phosphate is a thicker, more wear-resistant coating that holds oil – common on hard-use and military components.
    Do you provide certifications?
    Yes – certificates of conformance to the applicable MIL-DTL spec are available with your order.
